BenQ Digital Projector The BenQ digital projector has the potential to become a staple in business people’s briefcases. Carrying it around is no hassle because it’s so compact, and setting it up is a walk in the park. The remote control allows access to all the features, and the projector itself has a mini-panel on top of it so you can still use the unit without the remote. An S-video connector, video connector, D-sub connector for computer or HDTV input, audio input, and AC power cord input can all be found on the left side of the projector, while the back houses the IR remote sensor and rear adjustment foot. Liens Commerciaux The projector menu lets you tweak settings that range from brightness and contrast to image display auto-resizing. Clicks of the remote even freeze moving images and zoom in on them for a closer look. In our tests, this BenQ projector didn’t do too well showing white fonts on a black background and some output could be a tad sharper, but it did show smart image and picture quality. The few instances where we saw a bit of streaking were easily corrected with a few setting adjustments; brightness and contrast didn’t give us any trouble. There’s a catch with owning this projector, though – it isn’t advisable for long periods of use (such as watching movies). The lamp lasts only for 2,000 hours, after which, it’ll have to be replaced. It’s clearly designed for office use – it’s perfect for presentations and slideshows and quick conferences.
